CANTERBURY PREMIER LEAGUE AND U20 (RESERVES) Teams 

WHO: 
Players must be aged 16 years or older

COST:

Early Bird Fee: $320 (paid by 18th March 2025).

Standard Fee: $350 (paid after 18th March 2025).

No player can take the field until any outstanding fees are paid, as well as your 2025 fee (or Player Sponsor is arranged) - no exceptions.

WHERE:
Canterbury Premier League, and Reserve League, are in the Mainland Leagues, home (Kendall Park, Kaiapoi) and away. Training will be held at Kendall Park, Kaiapoi.  Times to be confirmed.

WHEN:
CPL kicks off at 2:30pm, U20's kicks off at 12:30pm on Saturdays. The Season start will be confirmed in the new year. There may also be some alternate days or evenings for Cup games or doubleheaders.

INFORMATION:
A squad of approx 32 players will be selected from Preseason Training to compete in the two leagues. The format is 11v11 on a senior pitch under Mainland Competition rules. Results are kept on a league table available on the Mainland Football Website. The Game Day uniform is supplied - Shirts, shorts, socks. The off-field kit will be provided for those without a kit (if you have a player sponsor - you keep your kit at the end of the season, otherwise all kit is handed back into the Club at the end of the season). Seniors play in wet conditions, usually only ground conditions cause cancellations.  Cancellations will be listed on the club website and Facebook page.

REGISTRATION FOR THE WINTER FOOTBALL SEASON: All returning players please check for an email communication with a magic link to register. All new players click on the link below.

Please note - Players must be registered (and paid) prior to their first game of the season.  No player will be able to take the field unless this has been done.

Mainland winter registrations close on 18th March 2025, along with early bird registrations. Standard fees will apply after this date.

Registrations will close while teams are assigned to our Mainland Football Teams. They will reopen once the allocation process is complete. Any late registrations will be added to a waitlist and assigned to teams if there is available space.

It is important if you want to play Mainland Football in 2025, that you register by the 18th March 2025, to be guaranteed a place in a team.

ALL Winter Registrations will close on the 20th April 2025. Any registrations coming in after this date, will go on a waitlist and will not be guaranteed a place in a team.
